Nokia Theatre... was perhaps one of THE best concerts we went to. We had
waited until the last second to buy tickets, and the funny thing was, I had
entered into the contest on Dir en grey's myspace to win the tickets, because
I was damn sure I didn't have the money to buy them. Well Akina pulled the
money out of her ass, and bought them anyway. We found out a few days later
I won the tickets. So we gave the 2 we bought to some friends of ours that live in
NYC that helped us navigate the city on our first visit there. We weren't going to
underesitmate the line this time. We showed up a good 17 hours early. There were
just a few people in front of us. It was FREEZING, one of the coldest nights we've
ever seen. We met up with one of the other contest winners,Brittany, the following
afternoon, and enjoyed the experience together. We also got to meet Akina's
friend Jon and his girlfriend at the time, Stephanie. Jon likes to call himself, the
tall asian, he's a good 6'1 or more. After we got inside, im not sure what happened
to Jon and Steph, but Akina, Brit and I made the rail, and we weren't about to
give it up. We were all bruised to hell from clinging, but damn it, it was worth it.
We were right in front of Daisuke, who seemed to enjoy the lavish ammount of
attention we were giving him. That whole night was worth damn near dying of frost bite.
