Discography Updated! Still plenty of work to do!
I've decided to make the website live despite the fact that there
is still quite a bit of work to be done. I've come into some extra
free time recently and decided to get some work done here. I'll
be posting updates as each section begins to come together. I
thank all of you for your patience, and I look forward to getting
things up and running.

Dir en grey's newest album has been released! It's a
"Best of" CD but don't let that put you off. The songs are
fan chosen and 3 amazing songs have been redone, and new music
videos as well!!! You can purchase their new cd at CD Japan.

I'm working on various small parts of the website, so ill
be posting those updates once in a while. My current project
had been working on the tracklisting for the singles section.
Nothing hugely amazing, just adding a little depth. So the
tracklisting in the singles section is now complete! You can

We missed a couple rounds of the Extreme Metal Olympics,
but we're back for the final round. This round has
Dir en grey's Different Sense up against Death's Suicide
Machine. You can vote once and hour up until August 22nd

Dir en grey National Street Team, also known as Degnat, after
about 3 years of little to no activity is finally making a
comeback. We're excited to get back in touch with the
community and resume supporting Dir en grey and the fans
in any way that we can. We still have a LOT of work to do, but
we're finally motivated and ready to dive like hell and destroy.
We hope you're ready to jump in with us. If you feel you can
help or contribute in any way, please feel free to contact us
and we'll let you know if there's anything we have that we can
put you to work on! Thank you all so much for being on this journey
with us, and supporting us despite us falling off the wagon.

Great news!!!!
According to attendees of a recent A-KNOT meeting held in Japan,
Kyo is beginning to sing again. Months after the band cancelled
tours and went on hiatus due to the frontman's health complications,
Kyo underwent microsurgery and is slowly easing back into his trade
while the rest of the band has worked on individual projects and have
reportedly been crafting new songs.
Inoue and Takabayashi Masuda spoke as representatives of the band at the
A-KNOT meeting and will hopefully continue to disclose Kyo's progress as
the band steps towards their (potential) much-awaited return.
Despite Kyo's illness, Dir en grey has still kept themselves busy!!!
Presenting a documentary film Dir en grey UROBOROS at Bodukan The Movie.
This movie will be streamed world wide on May 21st at a time still to
be announced on Ustream

Something Degnat has yet to address here is the tragedy of the earthquakes and
tsunami that hit Japan back in March. It has been brought to our attention,
and the attention of all fans and supporters, just how serious their situation
has become. It was Dir en grey themselves that took the time to write an open
letter to us, asking us for our support as their fans, and just as people who
care about the world and humanity. Please take a moment of your time to read
what they had to say, and to show them your support. For many years Dir en grey
has been there for us, and delivered nothing but their whole hearts and souls
into every album they have given to us. It's our turn now, to give them our
hearts and souls, supporting them and doing everything we can to help their
